Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Long Term Substitute Teacher to join our vibrant educational community on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and proactive behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to coordinate instructional activities, assessments, and student progress monitoring. Support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or working with individuals with autism. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and academic progress in compliance with school policies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development, achievements, and areas for improvement. Qualifications Proven classroom experience in early childhood education Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children across different developmental stages, including childhood development principles. Familiarity with teaching methods such as Montessori or literacy education strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and team members. Ability to adapt instruction for students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or tutoring support.
