Duties:
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and deliver instruction to students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students
  • Provide support and assistance to students with special needs or learning disabilities
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure continuity of instruction Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
  • Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum development
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and handle behavior management issues
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
  • Experience working with students with autism or special needs is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and strategies As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in various classrooms and grade levels, gaining valuable experience in different educational settings.
