Job Description

Substitute Teacher for the Grades Substitute Teachers for the Grades The School is seeking caring, dependable, and adaptable Substitute Teachers for Grades 1-8 . We are looking for substitutes who are available for both hourly and full-day assignments throughout the school year. While a teaching credential is not required for this position, prior teaching or classroom experience is preferred. Substitute teachers will receive an orientation to the school and to the classes they feel comfortable and capable of supporting. This orientation will include opportunities to observe in classrooms, meet and interact with faculty and students, and become familiar with the school's educational approach, classroom rhythms, and basic teaching methods. We see our substitute teachers as an important part of our school community. Their presence helps provide continuity, stability, and care for our students when a class teacher is away due to illness, professional development, or other circumstances that arise during the school year. We welcome individuals who enjoy working with children, are comfortable stepping into a classroom community, and are interested in learning more about our educational approach.
