A Substitute Teacher teaches or supervises classes for teachers who are away on leave or sick. May substitute for teachers at several different schools or school districts. May substitute for one day or for a longer term absence; may follow lesson plans developed by the regular teacher, or work with teacher who will be out to create new lesson plans and assignments.
Normal, IL Job Summary Serve as a Daily Rate Substitute Teacher for the deaf or visually impaired, working with students attending the Laboratory Schools through the Heart of Illinois Low Incidence (HILIAS) program. Salary Rate / Pay Rate $112.50 per day Additional Information Benefits include time away from work for eligible employees and the option to participate in the University's 403(b) Plan .
