Normal, IL Job Summary Serve as a Daily Rate Substitute Teacher, providing academic classroom instruction for students in the absence of the regular teacher. Salary Rate / Pay Rate $112.50 per day Additional Information Benefits include time away from work for eligible employees and the option to participate in the University's 403(b) Plan . Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Valid Illinois teaching certificate or valid Illinois Substitute teaching certificate Work Hours School Hours as needed Functional Expectations Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: Remain at a workstation for extended periods Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work Effectively communicate on a daily basis Proposed Starting Date Hiring to fill substitute pool for 2025-2026 academic year.
