Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Support children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development. Observe and document children's behavior as requested. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness. Follow health, sanitation, and emergency procedures. Communicate professionally with classroom staff and administrators. Report safety concerns or incidents immediately. Qualifications Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field, or qualifications meeting Illinois early childhood staffing requirements. Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or educational setting. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Experience in laboratory schools or Head Start programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Required Certifications CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
