A Substitute Teacher teaches or supervises classes for teachers who are away on leave or sick. May substitute for teachers at several different schools or school districts. May substitute for one day or for a longer term absence; may follow lesson plans developed by the regular teacher, or work with teacher who will be out to create new lesson plans and assignments.

Job Description
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any subject OR 90+ college credits AND actively enrolled in an approved educator program in Illinois OR Short-term sub license: 60+ college credits AND Minimum of IL Substitute Teaching License We can help provide you with licensing information if you are not yet licensed High School Diploma/GED Perks you'll enjoy withKelly Education:

Responsibilities:
- Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
- Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
- For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.
