$16.75 Per Hour, 7.5 hours per day 180 Work Days, days students are in session Times may be determined by building principal

QUALIFICATIONS

Substitute Teaching Permit/Indiana Teaching License High School Diploma or equivalent considered College degree preferred Successful Safe Hiring Solutions Extensive Background Check Completion of Substitute Teacher Packet along with mandatory Internet Based Training Successful experience working with school-aged children Completed online application and successful interview with Principal

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow the regular teachers' lesson plans and maintain discipline in the classroom at a level in which learning can take place Expectation is that these two responsibilities will be carried out in a climate of respect and caring for the students A substitute may cover several different content areas during a day, so the candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to various environments.
