Job Description
Circle USD 375 is looking for a caring, dependable, and student-focused High School ESOL Aide to join our team at Circle High School. This position provides support to English language learners as they work toward success in their academic classes and become more confident participating in the school community. Responsibilities Work directly with high school students who are learning English. Provide academic and classroom support in collaboration with classroom teachers and the ESOL staff. Help students understand directions, assignments, vocabulary, and classroom expectations. Support students with reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities. Encourage students to participate and communicate in the classroom. Provide small-group or individual support as needed. Help students develop independence and confidence as learners. Communicate and collaborate with teachers and ESOL staff regarding student needs. Maintain a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
