You will follow the class schedule and lesson plan in each room that you're located in. You will give breaks to staff and step in to help when it's needed. To be successful as a float and sub teacher, you should be creative, energetic, and able to encourage self-expression.
Float/Sub Teacher Responsibilities:
Fallow classroom lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development. Follow state regulations at all times in each individual room. Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement. Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them. Mediating conflict between students. Modeling appropriate behaviors, even when not on duty. Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times. Communicate with parents when the responsibility is needed. Attending staff meetings and trainings.Job Type:
