We are seeking flexible, dependable, and compassionate Substitute Teachers to provide classroom instruction to youth in secure care facilities. Substitute Teachers play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education, supporting academic achievement, and fostering a structured learning environment for justice-involved youth. Minimum Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent. Job Specification The Incumbents work 7.5 hours per work day. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties + Deliver instructional content in the absence of the regular classroom teacher + Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures to ensure consistent learning + Maintain classroom discipline and promote a safe, respectful environment + Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional periods + Communicate with education staff regarding student progress and classroom needs + Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners + Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records +
