Assumes responsibility for teaching students utilizing a course of study adopted by the Beverly Public Schools and/or appropriate curriculum publications. Maintains appropriate records such as attendance and grades as directed by the classroom teacher. Establishes and maintains order in the classroom; maintains a classroom environment conducive to learning. A successful candidate employs responsible and professional decision making which is governed by good judgement. We are seeking applicants who are available to substitute multiple days per week across the district. Education Associate Degree preferred Candidates must have completed at least one year of college (sophomore standing or higher) Compensation $22.50 per hour, up to $135.00 per day Employment Eligibility Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a CORI and SORI background check and fingerprint-based national criminal history check, in accordance with Massachusetts law. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
