REPORTS TO

Principal

POSITION SUMMARY

Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School is seeking a long term substitute for Math (Geometry, Algebra, and Financial Literacy).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include, but are not limited to, the following:

Reports to the Main Office prior to 7:10 AM, and then reports to the assigned area before school begins; secures necessary assignments, rosters with ID numbers, and sub-folder.

Studies and follows the teacher's lesson plans.

Records accurate pupil attendance according to stipulated directions and contacts the Main Office with an absentee list of students.

Strives to attain a regular disciplined pattern of classroom operation, including no cell phone use. Reports on student discipline concerns to the Assistant Principal's Office.

Monitors the use of all school equipment and materials. Reports safety concerns.

Reports all accidents to the Principal.

Notifies the Nurse of student illnesses or accidents.

Ensures the shop area/classroom is neat and orderly at the end of the day.

Provides a daily summary to the Teacher of work covered, student behavior etc.

Performs any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity of rules and regulations pertaining to fire and safety drills posted in the area.

Must be authorized to work in the United States

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma required.

DESE Educator Licensure a plus.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

To cover a leave of absence beginning August 31, 2026.

SALARY RANGE

Non Certified:

$150.00 Per Day

Certified:

$180.00 Per Day. After 25 days $321.48 Per Day
