POSITION

Long-Term Substitute Physics Teacher

2026-2027 School Year

Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Physics Teacher position at Shrewsbury High School. This position would begin in the middle to end of November and will last through December 2026. The rate of pay is $280 per diem for each day worked.

We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.

Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred:
  • Licensure as a Physics Teacher from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Licensure in other areas of science a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of high school student needs and programming

  • Works flexibly in a changing environment
