The Daily Substitute Teacher will provide instructional and classroom support by assuming teaching responsibilities during teacher absences. This individual will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the school's mission of academic excellence and faith-based education.
Essential Functions:
Actively supervise students at all times Respond to all parent communication in a timely manner Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration Oversee the instruction of students following the plans provided by the regular teacher Follow the daily routine of the teacher and fill in for duties outside the classroom, such as morning drop-off or pick-up, as needed Work collaboratively with other teachers, assistants, staff, and administration Interact effectively and respond to communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.
Position Qualifications:
Degree in education preferred. Current MSDE certification preferred. Knowledge of child development and supervision. Experience teaching in a high school setting. Ability to support the mission of the Catholic Church within the scope of assigned job duties.
Pay Rate :
$16.00,
