A Substitute Teacher teaches or supervises classes for teachers who are away on leave or sick. May substitute for teachers at several different schools or school districts. May substitute for one day or for a longer term absence; may follow lesson plans developed by the regular teacher, or work with teacher who will be out to create new lesson plans and assignments.

Job Description
Ideal candidates will follow the teacher's instructional plans and administer materials in a way that motivates, challenges, and engages students while providing order and discipline in the classroom. Candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma. This is an on-call position. Selected candidates will be added to an on-call list.
