Dedicated Building Substitute Teacher (Full Time)

•Moore Middle School

POSITION OVERVIEW

Moore Middle School is seeking a Dedicated Building Substitute for the 2026-2027 school year. Duties include daily classroom functions, reviewing and implementing daily lesson plans, monitoring and supporting students in their learning, and collaborating with teacher teams around curriculum, instruction, and assessment.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

[Preferred] Prior experience working with children

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Maine State fingerprint (CHRC) authorization (more info)

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

Schedule:

Full Time, 1.0 FTE (standard 7 hour day)

Assignment:

Temporary, not guaranteed to extend beyond the 26-27 school year

Wage:

$29.57 per hour
