Job Description
Welcome to Maine School Administrative District #75 Serving Maine's Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.
Williams-Cone School, a preK-5 elementary school serving Topsham, Maine, is seeking a Long-Term Substitute for a 5th grade classroom for approxately 12 weeks during the December 2026 - March 2027 timeframe.
PAY RATE
$279.00/day
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Showing passion and a commitment to helping all students learn at a high level.
Contributing to a school culture of appreciation, collegiality, and innovation.
Utilizing skills to be successful with intensive collaboration in a team-based, multi-grade approach to teaching and learning.
Creating an inclusive classroom culture where all students feel they belong, and are excited to learn.
Demonstrating a strong understanding of research-based Literacy and Mathematics instruction and assessment at the intermediate-elementary level, and the commitment to continue professional learning.
Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
All other duties per teacher contract.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid State of Maine Department of Education Elementary Teacher K-6 (020) Certification.
- Valid State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
- Elementary level teaching experience preferred.
