9682647-48197 Job Description Support students and educators as a dedicated paraprofessional in a vibrant school setting close to Ypsilanti, MI. This is a contract position designed for those who are passionate about education and interested in making a meaningful impact over an 8 to 12 week period. Opportunities for additional assignments may be available at the end of each term. What you'll need: Experience working in schools or with children in educational settings Either 60 college credits or a current Para certification (if you do not have 60 credits, you may begin with certification pending once offered a position) Strong communication and teamwork abilities Reliability and commitment to supporting both students and teaching staff Flexibility and adaptability in classroom environments Your primary responsibilities will include: Supporting students with academic and behavioral needs under the direction of certified teachers Assisting with classroom instruction, activities, and organization Helping maintain a positive, structured environment for learning Adapting support for individual or small group instruction as needed Collaborating with teaching, administrative, and support staff to contribute to student success This role offers a consistent schedule of 32.5 hours per week, ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience in education while enjoying consistent work.
