Maternity of Mary-St. Andrew Catholic School (MMSA) is seeking a joy-filled, and faith-filled grade five teacher to join our wonderful staff for the 2026-27 academic year! Key Responsibilities of this position include:: Assisting in ensuring a joyful, safe and enriching classroom environment Identifying and implementing learning strategies to help students grow academically, socially, physically, and spiritually. Effectively supervising and working directly with students. Evaluating student performance and working with other teaching staff to best support student growth. Preparing lesson plans. Communicating effectively with students, parents, co-workers, and supervisors Working positively and supportively with co-workers and the principal in maintaining a safe, clean, functional, and energetic classroom. Attending meetings/special initiatives and professional development required by the school, parish, and/or Archdiocese. Ensuring confidentiality of students, families and school information. Supporting policies within MMSA employee handbook. Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
