Minimum Requirements:
Substitute Paraprofessional:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and passing ParaPro exam
  • If you have Bachelors degree
  • ParaPro exam not required
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
Clerical:
  • Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with school district staff while also positively relate to students, parents, and community.
Custodian:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years old or older
Substitute Teacher:
  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Substitute Teaching License OR Tier 3 or 4 Teaching License. If you are not yet licensed but hold a Bachelor's degree in any subject, you are eligible to apply for licensure! Let us know and we can help connect you with the MDE.

Custodian Responsibilities:
Comply with school Safety Manual Rules and Regulations and OSHA requirements
Paraprofessional Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
  • Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher aides, instructional assistants, classroom assistants or education assistants.
Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
  • Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.
Clerical Responsibilities:
Role reports to the Assigned School District Administrator who has ultimate responsibility for designing and implementing clerical services, along with providing day-to-day and all job-specific instruction Organize and maintain an efficient and effective office that handles a variety of tasks for the administration, faculty, students, and parents of the school. Perform secretarial and clerical tasks of a varied nature. Assist in creating and maintaining a clean, attractive, orderly, safe, and efficient office environment.
