Job Description
Help for Partial Job Description. Opens a new window. 1: 1 School Aged Childcare Assistant needed to work with one individual child before and after school. SAC is a before and after school child care program. The salary range (dependent upon experience): $18.09/hour
- $24.91/hour. Must be 18 years old with valid social security card. The hours range from 6:00
- 8:30 am and 3:30
- 6:30 pm.
There are some full days of childcare when school is not in session. Half benefits are offered for those working 20-29.5 hours per week. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has updated the qualifications for paraprofessionals to included the 20-hour online substitute training program beginning in the 2022-2023 school year. Individials with one of the following qualifications are now eligible to be an instructional paraprofessional: 60+ college hours Associates degree or higher Missouri ParaPro Assessment passing score (before September 23, 2013) Missouri Paraprofessional Assessment passing score (after September 23, 2013) Completed Missouri's 20-hour online substitute training program The Belton School District is committed to building a culturally diverse educational environment.
