Job Description

A Substitute Teacher provides temporary classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. They maintain a positive learning environment, follow lesson plans, manage student behavior, and ensure students remain engaged in educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher. Deliver instruction and facilitate classroom activities. Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment. Manage student behavior according to school policies. Take attendance and maintain accurate classroom records. Adapt lessons when necessary to meet student needs. Supervise students during class, lunch, recess, or other assigned duties. Communicate important information about the day's activities to the regular teacher and school administration. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Background check will be required.
