A Substitute Teacher teaches or supervises classes for teachers who are away on leave or sick. May substitute for teachers at several different schools or school districts. May substitute for one day or for a longer term absence; may follow lesson plans developed by the regular teacher, or work with teacher who will be out to create new lesson plans and assignments.

Job Description
This is person would need to be available to come in when other teachers are out sick, have appointments or are on vacation. This may be short notice of when you are needed. When you come in you will be responsible for taking care of the children, following the teachers lesson plans, daily cleaning. This position typically has at least 5 hours a week, depending on the needs of the facility. We are open from 7:15-5:30 and shifts can range from anywhere in between that time. Even if you are only available for part of the day, we would love to have more people with some time availability!
