Substitute Teacher K-12th Grade Flaming Sword Christian Academy - 1.0 Hope Mills, NC Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Behavior management Childcare Classroom management Military Special education Experience working with high schoolers Experience working with children Working with students Instructional adaptability Classroom experience Experience working with elementary school students Associate's degree Student engagement classroom management Full Job Description We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher to provide classroom coverage for combination classes serving elementary, middle, and high school students.
Responsibilities include:
Effectively implement lesson plans and instructions provided by the classroom teacher. Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment while maintaining classroom management. Work successfully with students who have a variety of mild to moderate learning and developmental needs, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, emotional and behavioral challenges, and other exceptional learning needs. Collaborate professionally with teachers, administrators, and support staff. Utilize classroom technology and educational software as needed. Arrive on time and maintain a dependable attendance record. Participate in school events and activities before and/or after the regular school day as needed.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree required. North Carolina teaching certification is not required . Experience working with children and teenagers is required. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Ability to adapt to different grade levels and learning needs.
