Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet West Kearney High School curriculum standards. Provide engaging, supportive instruction to youth in a structured classroom setting. Create a positive, respectful, and informed learning environment. Maintain consistent classroom expectations and support student behavioral and academic progress. Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and support individualized learning plans.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications :
Any teaching endorsement, with a 7-12 certification. Will consider candidates eligible for valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate, a Local Substitute Permit, or a State Substitute Permit.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working with youth in adolescent treatment setting is preferred.

$26.871 Knowledge, skills, abilities Ability to regularly demonstrate patience, persistence, caring, empathy, and a desire to do what is best for these students.
