Long Term Substitute 6th Grade Literacy Lab Teacher

Job Overview:

Lebanon Middle School seeks a full-time Long Term Substitute 6th Grade Literacy Lab Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year ending on 06/15/2026. Literacy Lab is a skills-based English/Language Arts course focused on strengthening reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and discussion skills through structured lessons and guided practice, using a cross-curricular approach with the Sixth grade team.. The Ideal candidate will need to be able to: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture. Embrace innovative teaching practices such as Project & Problem-Based Learning. Utilize technology effectively to enhance learning. Engage students in real-world applications of English literacy and social studies. Work well in a team-based model and contribute to a strong professional learning community. The regular work schedule is 7.5 hours a day, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute duty-free lunch.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Education or related field is preferred. Valid NH Elementary Education (K-8) Certification or NH English Education (5-12) Certification. At least 1 year of teaching experience is preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay:

Based off Districts current Long Term Substitute Teacher rates.
