New substitutes are required to participate in an orientation- dates to be determined
Daily Pay Rates:

Required- BA/BS from accredited college or university Preferred
- Valid Colorado teaching license or Substitute Authorization (3 and 5 year only
- 1 year authorizations are not accepted) Interviews are site-based and not conducted by the Human Resources office.

- Demonstrates subject matter concepts and examples using models, technology provided, and teacher

- Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures, including proper use of equipment.
- Follows appropriate district policies and procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for instruction, duties, and supervision of students according to assigned position.
- Demonstrates confidentiality as related to job.
- Establishes rapport with students and provides a pleasant, safe, and orderly climate conducive to learning.
- Supervises students in and out of classroom activities during the assigned work day.
- Effectively manages a classroom by keeping students on task and engaged.
- Assumes all duties and responsibilities of the absent teacher.
- Maintains a positive learning environment.
- Leaves feedback and notes for the regular classroom teacher.
- Demonstrates flexibility to work in a variety of classroom settings.
