A paraeducator may also be referred to as paraprofessional, 1:1 aide, education technician, teacher aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant, education assistant, learning support assistant, and teaching assistant. Minimum requirements:

High school diploma or GED Negative TB test New Jersey fingerprinting clearance

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Assist, support and work closely with the supervising district/school employees
• Assisting students on classroom topics/courses
• Building positive relationships
• Assigning or re-enforcing tasks and homework
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• Assist in building a classroom environment that's conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
• Adapt to the various learning styles of students
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments Perks you'll enjoy with
