Substitute teachers at our school are at the center of our model, supporting all aspects and ensuring that all components function smoothly. Substitute teachers at Explore Academy play many roles including: supporting students and teachers in classrooms, supporting and monitoring interactions in the cafeteria during lunch time, serving lunch, being classroom substitutes when teachers are absent, and supporting in our Flex part of the day ensuring students are completing their coursework and frontloading.
