Come join our caring team of professionals in a supportive, fun, play-based classroom environment. Capital District Beginnings is an educational agency providing services for pre-school children with special needs in the Capital District. Named a Best Workplace of the Capital Region by the Times Union in 2021, 2022, and 2023! Our philosophy is to teach children with disabilities in their natural learning environments. Capital District Beginnings is currently seeking floating support. Must be available to float between the four below listed counties based on the daily need. The following counties this position would require travel to based on daily need are listed below: Albany Rensselaer Saratoga Schenectady As a Beginnings' Floating Substitute, you will work closely with the Special Education Teachers, therapists, TA's and 1:1's in our preschool programs. In this position you will work directly with children ages 2-5 years-old Beginnings five-hour program day and then participate in classroom meetings, professional development, preparation, cleaning and planning with the classroom team. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday with a variable schedule based on classroom site ranging between the hours of 8:00am - 2:00pm, and follows a school calendar including a six-week summer program. #
