As a substitute teacher, you will step into the classroom to maintain educational continuity, support student success, and foster a safe, positive learning environment when regular teachers are absent. Key Responsibilities Implement established lesson plans provided by the primary classroom teacher to ensure instruction continues smoothly. Leave a detailed summary of daily accomplishments, student progress, and any behavioral notes for the returning classroom teacher. Adhere to all district policies, school guidelines, and New York State Education Department (NYSED) protocols.
