May substitute for one day or for a longer term absence; may follow lesson plans developed by the regular teacher, or work with teacher who will be out to create new lesson plans and assignments.

Job Description

Lawrence County Developmental Disabilities (LCDD) is a county governmental agency serving children and adults who are at risk for or have a diagnosed developmental disability. We promote advocacy, inclusion and personal growth. Are you ready to promote positive social change? The Lawrence County DD is accepting applications for substitute teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must possess all necessary education to apply for the Substitute Teacher License through the Ohio Department of Education. Training is provided! Work Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 3:00. Salary - $199.64 per day.
