Middletown Christian Schools Early Learning Center Report to:
ELC Director Start Date:
ASAP Substitute Teacher/Float Middletown Christian Early Learning Center is in search of a Substitute Teacher/Float. Must enjoy working with children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade.
Spiritual Maturity:
Publicly profess a faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Actively engage in the life and ministry of a church as a member. Believe and support the school's statement of faith (Statement of Grace Baptist Church). Agree to abide by the Lifestyle Statement.
Job Duties:
On the Job Training Floats to different classrooms to help teachers as needed. Maintain communication with parents. Adhere to State of Ohio licensing rules as well as ELC policies. Maintain personal professional development which includes 10 clock hours in specialized training. All training will be provided by ELC.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Preferred - Childcare experience. Must clear full background check and pass health screening. Must be trained within 90 days of hire in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid. All training provided by ELC. Ability to work well with others (staff, child, parents) and to foster a team environment.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma is a must.
The following is encouraged:
CDA (Child Development Associate) training is encouraged at some point. Training is provided.
Physical Requirements:
Be able to lift 35 lbs.
