Columbus Jewish Day School Summary:

Seeking Substitute Teachers for any or all elementary curriculum subject areas. Included, but not limited to: English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, Hebrew, Jewish Studies. Substitute teachers are called upon to supervise and teach classes when a teacher is unavailable to do so. Lesson plans are provided. This position requires a background check, professional demeanor, and strong classroom management skills.

7:45 a.m. - 3:35 p.m., Monday through Thursday 7:45 a.m. - 2:35pm,

Friday Pay:

$75.00 half day $150.00 full day Responsibilities include (not limited to): Supervising students in and out of the classroom throughout the day. Covering lunch, recess, morning or dismissal duties for the absent teacher. Following lesson plans as provided by the absent teacher. Bringing students to and from classes with other teachers. Taking attendance. Communicating notes to the absent teacher for follow-up when the teacher returns. Familiarization with all emergency procedures.
