We are seeking a dependable and flexible Long-Term Substitute Teacher to support our middle school students and staff. Position Summary The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will provide daily instruction and classroom support for 6th and/or 7th grade students during an extended teacher absence. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, adaptable, and able to maintain classroom expectations while building positive relationships with students. Responsibilities Follow lesson plans and instructional materials provided Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment Manage classroom behavior and student engagement Support student learning and daily classroom activities Communicate with administration and staff regarding student needs Supervise students during classroom and school activities Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Qualifications Associate Degree preferred but not required Previous classroom or youth experience preferred Ability to manage a classroom effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, flexible, and professional Must pass all required background checks Benefit s Supportive administration and staff Opportunity to gain classroom experience Competitive long-term substitute pay Meaningful opportunity to impact student success
