Substitute Teacher Job Description :
Teachers offer supplementary support in instances where regular teachers are unable to fulfill their duties. They may be responsible for creating and executing lesson plans and educational goals while overseeing student activities, managing classroom dynamics, and facilitating learning activities . of instructional programs for students in a group or one-on-one setting. Prepares instructional materials, maintains classroom discipline, and leads planned activities designated by a licensed teacher. Helps maintain a positive school-wide learning environment.
Substitute Teacher Qualifications :
Substitute Teachers must apply for or possess a valid Oregon Teaching or Substitute Teaching License. Licensing is completed via the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) and must be obtained before one is qualified to work as a Substitute Teacher.
