Job Summary Ashbrook Independent School is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and creative Substitute Teachers. Major Duties and Responsibilities Substitute Teachers will: Deliver instruction to students as designed by the classroom teacher's lesson plans. Develop or create lessons based on curriculum materials when needed. Maintain a positive and caring classroom environment favorable to learning; Supervise and ensure the safety and health of children in the classroom. Collaborate with staff throughout the school. Communicate proactively and positively with parents as needed. Perform other related duties as required.Qualifications :
Knowledge and experience with teaching elementary and/or middle school students. Strong written and oral communication skills. Bachelor's degree or higher in teacher educationPREFERRED
Professional teacher licensure in good standing and that is transferable to the State of Oregon.Compensation:
