Edison Prep is now accepting applications to join our small educational team. We are currently seeking highly dedicated teachers who are passionate about their content areas and wish to teach students in grades 7-12 in small groups. Our average class size is 6 students. We schedule teachers based on student need. In order to schedule a few more math and social studies sections we are in need of a few more dedicated teachers to fill our schedule. We are looking for exceptional social studies and math teachers. The right candidates can choose one of the following schedules Monday -Thursday 10:30-3pm Monday- Thursday 3pm-5:30 pm Monday/Wednesday 10:30-3pm Tuesday/Thursday 10:30-3pm Our education team provides services in a safe and supportive environment within a treatment facility. Edison Prep offers academic instruction for students in grades 7-12. Our education team members are subcontracted for specific course assignments. All of our teachers are Pa certified in one of more content areas of instruction. Compensation is competitive. We will consider non-Pa Certified teachers only in a substitute teacher role. A Bachler's degree in education or related field is required in order to be considered for a substitute teacher position.
