Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree. PA Teaching Certificate is preferred. The building sub must have well-crafted classroom management skills and the ability to provide classroom instruction to meet the needs of individual students. In this role, the selected candidate will provide day-to-day classroom coverage depending on teacher absences. This person will be responsible for the following:
  • Provide classroom coverage, instruction, and professionalism
  • Extensive use of technology including the use of Smartboards, iPads, laptops and remote learning platforms
  • Participating in professional learning communities and group collaboration
  • Participating in all school community events, including those that take place in the evening
  • Participating in all professional development opportunities throughout the school year
  • Engaging students, parents, guardians and families in a meaningful and respectful manner
