Open Until Filled This vacancy is for a Long Term Substitute Science Teacher at Southern Middle School beginning as soon as possible through the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. The position requires PA Certification in: General Science 7-12, Grades 4-8 Science, Mid Level Science 6-9, Biology 7-12, Chemistry 7-12, Earth Science 7-12, or Physics 7-12. T he salary for this position is dependent upon experience. The starting salary is $66,000 (prorated for the days to be worked ). The Southern York County School District is a high-performing district serving approximately 2,900 students K-12 located in south-central Pennsylvania. The suburban district is located just off Interstate 83 between Harrisburg and Baltimore.
