Job Description
We are seeking energetic, qualified candidates for an Afternoon Teacher position in our Infant/ Toddler classrooms. The Afternoon Teacher is responsible for contributing to an inviting, stimulating, and safe learning environment. The teacher's duties include supporting a curriculum that is based in a solid understanding of child development, PIC's philosophy, and the state and national learning standards. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for family communication, as well as for building a collaborative relationship with your teaching team. The teacher is a vital part of the PIC community, and there are duties beyond the classroom, including professional development and community events. This is a part-time position, Monday- Friday, 2-6 pm. Preference is given to candidates with: Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or related field, and 2 years experience.
