Saint Kilian Catholic School Position Summary:
Saint Kilian Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Upper Elementary/Middle School Math Teacher to join our team for the entirety of the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education and a commitment to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for our 4th - 7th-grade students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state and national standards in mathematics. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of middle school students. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of learning. Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to ensure the overall success of students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics education or a related field. Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate. Strong understanding of mathematics concepts and curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. Experience teaching in a Catholic school setting is a plus.
