Immediately Job Description Barrington Public Schools Substitute Job Description The Substitute Teacher is responsible for delivering instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Duties include following lesson plans, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment, supervising students, facilitating classroom activities and laboratory work as appropriate, and supporting student learning and engagement. The substitute teacher is expected to uphold school policies, manage classroom behavior effectively, and communicate any significant issues or concerns to school administration.
