As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a dynamic learning environment by stepping into classrooms across various grade levels and subject areas. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to support student growth, foster creativity, and ensure continuity of instruction when full-time teachers are unavailable. Your adaptability, communication skills, and enthusiasm will inspire students and contribute to their academic success. Duties Deliver engaging lessons based on provided curriculum plans, ensuring students remain focused and motivated. Implement curriculum development strategies tailored to diverse learning styles, including literacy education, math, creative writing, and Montessori methods. Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive behavior management techniques and classroom activity organization. Support students with special needs, including those with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, by adapting instructional methods and providing personalized assistance. Foster a safe, inclusive environment conducive to learning by applying classroom management best practices and maintaining positive relationships with students. Assist with lesson planning and proofreading educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy. Collaborate with school staff and mentors to support early childhood education initiatives and developmental milestones. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and experience implementing curriculum activities. Familiarity with special education practices, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents. Background in early childhood education, literacy education, or Montessori teaching methods is advantageous. Ability to adapt instructional approaches based on student needs and classroom dynamics. Experience in private school environments or tutoring roles is a plus.
