$13.50 - $15.00 / hour (Depending on Experience) Position Overview American Staffing Professionals is seeking experienced, innovative, and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to support state-accredited Charter Schools in the Greater Columbia area. This flexible role offers the perfect entry point into education, providing valuable part-time or full-time experience with strong potential for direct-hire career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Cultivate Culture:
Serve as a positive leader, actively supporting the school's mission and shaping a productive learning environment.
Execute Lesson Plans:
Deliver provided lesson plans and enforce established classroom rules across multi-grade (K-12) settings.
Maintain Flexibility:
Accept on-call assignments and manage your availability proactively.
Communicate Effectively:
Maintain open, timely communication with agency administrators regarding scheduling and assignments.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven experience working with children required (classroom or structured group settings preferred).
Skills:
Strong classroom management skills are an absolute must.
Credentials:
A formal teaching license is not required to apply.
