May substitute for one day or for a longer term absence; may follow lesson plans developed by the regular teacher, or work with teacher who will be out to create new lesson plans and assignments.

Job Description
The person selected for this position will be responsible for assisting the general supervision and management of a class. Qualifications The person selected for this position must have a high school diploma and ECD 101 or willing to take class. This person should be a sensitive, mature individual who is able to relate positively to children and adults. Experience in the field of early childhood is desirable. This person must be a committed Christian and conduct her life according to Christian principles. She is a representative of this church. We are an outreach and a ministry to this community. She is a professional in early childhood and an advocate for children. Must show a Christ-like attitude at all times towards children, parents and co-workers. The person selected for this position must be physically able to perform the job, be reliable, and be flexible in receiving assignments and adapting to changes in the program; and willing to accept supervision in order to improve work performance. This person will be responsible of informing the director as soon as possible if she will not be coming to work as well as acquiring a substitute for days absent. If one is not available you should discuss other avenues with the director. This would include any days off requested.
