Responsibilities:
  • Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies.
This includes:
  • Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher's existing lesson plans
  • Instructing students on a variety of classroom topics/courses
  • Building positive relationships
  • Assigning reasonable tasks and homework
  • Motivate students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
  • Create a classroom environment that's conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
  • Adapt to the various learning styles of students
  • For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as create, administer, and grade tests and assignments Minimum requirements:

This position offers an opportunity to support student achievement, foster positive classroom experiences, and contribute to the ongoing success of our diverse student community. The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional skills, classroom management abilities, and a passion for working with children from varied backgrounds. Responsibilities Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of instruction and engagement. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements or autism spectrum disorders. Utilize educational technologies and computers to enhance lesson delivery and student participation. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Follow school policies, mandated reporting laws, and confidentiality standards diligently. Support curriculum implementation across subjects such as literacy education, math, early childhood education, and Montessori methods where applicable. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share best practices and improve instructional approaches. Assist with classroom setup, organization, and basic childcare duties as needed. Maintain flexibility in scheduling across different classrooms and grade levels. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational settings or childcare environments. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and those requiring special education support. Familiarity with instructional adaptability for early childhood education or preschool settings. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents. Ability to adhere to school policies, including mandated reporting laws related to child safety. Competence in using computers and educational technologies to facilitate instruction. Experience working with individuals with autism or in private school environments is advantageous. Background in literacy education, math instruction, or Montessori methods is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators committed to student success.
