About Us Triumph Public High Schools is a Texas-based, tuition-free, public charter high school with 9 schools operating in the State of Texas. Founded in 1990 by Mr. Eduardo Gutierrez and operating as The Student Alternatives Program, we rebranded in 2019 to Triumph Public High Schools. We specialize in serving high school students who are placed at-risk in completing their high school education. Position Overview Triumph Public High Schools is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and passionate individual with a heart to serve and educate at-risk youth and young adults. As a Short-Term Substitute at Triumph Public High Schools, you will provide classroom coverage when teachers are absent by following lesson plans, maintaining a safe learning environment, and supporting students in their academic progress. Key Responsibilities Deliver instruction using provided lesson plans and curriculum materials Maintain classroom order and manage student behavior in alignment with school policies Support students with assignments, activities, and classroom engagement Take attendance and maintain accurate classroom records Communicate professionally with campus staff and ensure a positive learning environment This position may occasionally require work on Saturdays, during the summer, or travel within the State of Texas. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to pass pre-employment fingerprinting and background check Preferred Qualifications At least 48 college credit hours or an Associate's degree or higher Experience working with students in a classroom or youth-focused setting Experience following lesson plans and classroom procedures Bilingual inEnglish and Spanish Compensation Daily Salary Range:
$100 - $150 (based on a As Needed work schedule) Salary placement is based on education, experience, and credentials Salary is prorated from the effective date of hire (Equivalent to approximately [$100 - $150] per workday, depending on placement.)
