Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, ensuring smooth instructional flow and student engagement Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe and respectful learning environment for all students Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities, including those with disabilities or developmental challenges Organize classroom activities that promote literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social-emotional development Support early childhood education principles and curriculum implementation tailored to different age groups Communicate clearly with students, staff, and parents about student progress and classroom activities as needed Maintain organized records of daily activities, attendance, and any incidents that occur during your shift Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning across various subjects, including math and literacy education Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, demonstrating patience and nurturing skills Expertise in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to foster positive student interactions Familiarity with special education practices, including working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Ability to adapt instruction creatively for students with diverse needs using instructional adaptability techniques Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks such as Montessori or other child-centered approaches Proven experience in tutoring or mentoring students to support their academic growth Skills in proofreading and organizing classroom activities to ensure clarity and engagement Experience working in private school environments or similar educational settings is a plus Join us as a Substitute Teacher and become an essential part of our mission to inspire lifelong learners! Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
